18/10 grade makes silverware sturdier, shinier and more resistant to rust without making it heavier than conventional utensils. Cleanerware’s Elvira Collection has been forged for extra strength and hand polished to enhance its material
and design.
During hot forging – the process that is used in Elvira Collection manufacturing – 18/10 stainless steel is heated up in a furnace and parts of flatware that are prone to bending undergo a change in shape. Thanks to the high temperatures in forging, it is possible to make these parts thicker and, therefore, stronger. You might need some superpower if you want to make a heart shaped bend from your Cleanerware fork.
After utensils have been forged they go through several rounds of hand polish. Each piece of Elvira Collection Cleanerware is treated individually to make it smoother and to enhance the beauty of the natural shine of 18/10 stainless steel.
